Friday’s Writing Advice from D. P. Lyle

DPLyle1Today’s writing advice comes from D. P. Lyle, author of the Samantha Cody thriller series and the Dub Walker thriller series:

Write. That’s the best advice I can give. To be a writer you have to write. Not think about writing or wish you were writing but you must sit down and write. Every day. The great Bryce Courtenay, the most prolific author in Australian history, puts it much more colorfully. He says writing requires one thing–bum glue. Glue your bum to the chair and write. He’s correct.
